Join us for this fun, interactive, class designed to give pet owners the confidence and skills to respond when every second counts. Learn essential life-saving techniques and practical safety tips that can help you protect the pets you love. During this class, participants will learn:

• Pet CPR for dogs and cats

• How to recognize and respond to common pet emergencies

• bandaging and wound care basics

• Pet safety at home, outdoors, and while traveling

• Common pet poisons and what to do if your pet is exposed

• What every pet first aid kit should contain

• How to build a pet disaster preparedness kit for emergencies and evacuations

Whether you're a new pet owner or have shared your life with pets for years, this class provides valuable knowledge that could make a difference in a critical situation. Have a stuffed animal and some gauze rolls available for practice

This class helps lactating parents prepare for the return to work. The discussion will include how to talk with supervisors about your pumping schedule, deciding what pump will work best for you, how much milk baby will need while you’re away, ensuring baby will take a bottle, preparing for baby’s day with caregivers and daycare, and more.

This two hour class for expectant mothers and their partner or family member is taught by our International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC). We will discuss the practical information you need to get breastfeeding off to a good start, grow your milk supply, and reach your feeding goals. Some of the many topics covered are; Breastfeeding techniques for comfortable and effective feeds, how to know baby is getting enough milk, nutrition for the breastfeeding parent, bottle feeding breastmilk. Partner/support person is strongly encouraged to attend.
